A screening CT is not a diagnostic exam. It can identify a growth but cannot establish whether it is malignant, and it is not a replacement for a mammogram or a colonoscopy. Your report describes your own anatomy.
Why here.
Central Palm Beach County now has a Smart Scan center of its own, on Hypoluxo Road at Jog Road. It is one visit of about fifteen minutes and $798, flat — the physician order, a board-certified radiologist’s read of the whole body and the coronary calcium score — with no referral to arrange first. Boca Raton is the other Palm Beach County center, about twenty minutes south.
Serving Lake Worth, Lantana, Boynton Beach, Greenacres, Wellington and suburban West Palm Beach.
How to find it.
The center is on Hypoluxo Road just east of Jog Road, in the suburban Lake Worth area west of I-95 — not in downtown Lake Worth Beach. From I-95, take Hypoluxo Road west to Jog Road. From Boynton Beach or Wellington, Jog Road brings you to Hypoluxo directly.
The same exam in Lake Worth as everywhere else.
Affordability doesn’t have to mean compromise. No matter where you go, Smart Scan delivers only the highest quality service from scheduling to delivering your reports. Since 2017, we’ve helped thousands access affordable, high-quality screening across the state of Florida.
Asked in Lake Worth.
Is this Lake Worth or Lake Worth Beach?
The center is at 6400 Hypoluxo Road, Suite 100, Lake Worth 33463 — the unincorporated area west of I-95, at Jog Road. It is not in downtown Lake Worth Beach, which renamed itself in 2019, so set your map to the street address rather than the city. Booking is through Smart Scan at 813-692-1216, 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Should I book Lake Worth or Boca Raton?
Whichever is the shorter drive; they are the same exam. Lake Worth serves Lantana, Boynton Beach, Greenacres and Wellington; Boca Raton serves Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach and Highland Beach. Both are partner imaging centers running the same two-pass protocol for chest, abdomen, pelvis and heart at the same $798, and appointments at either are usually about two weeks out.
Will insurance or my HSA cover it?
Insurance generally does not cover preventive screening of this kind, which is why the price is published as one figure: $798 at the Lake Worth center, the same as every Smart Scan center. HSA and FSA funds can be used, and financing is available through Affirm and CareCredit. There is no second invoice for the radiologist’s read or the calcium score report.
Does this replace my mammogram or colonoscopy?
No. A screening CT is not a substitute for either, whatever center in Palm Beach County you use, and you should keep those on the schedule your physician recommends. What the scan covers is chest, abdomen, pelvis and the heart’s coronary calcium, read by a board-certified radiologist, with a copy of both reports sent directly to your own doctor.
