Smart Scan

The questions that decide it.

No minimum · no-breakage model · voluntary for employees · results never reach the employer.

Common FAQs.

The ones that decide whether this goes anywhere.

Can we see which employees participated, or what was found?

Participated, yes. Because you are funding the exam, we verify each person’s employment by name before booking, and you are billed for the exams performed, so attendance is visible to you. Found, never. There is no version of this program where clinical information about a named employee reaches their employer.

Does this touch our health plan?

The exam is bought directly and billed per scan; there is no claim, no network and no plan amendment involved on our side. Whether your particular arrangement has implications for your group health plan is a question for your benefits counsel, and we will give them whatever they need to answer it.

Is it taxable to the employee?

That depends on how you structure and fund it, and it is a question for your tax advisor rather than for us. We would rather say that than guess.

What about false positives?

They happen, and they are the main documented harm of screening this way. A screening CT finds incidental things that turn out to be nothing, and following them up costs the employee time, money and worry.

Anyone offering you a screening program who does not raise this is not being straight with you. It is a real trade-off, and the honest position is that the person being scanned should understand it before they book.

Is there a minimum company size?

No. The price is the same whether you send six people or six hundred, and you are billed only for exams performed.

Does insurance cover any of it?

No. Insurance does not cover preventive screening of this kind. That is why it is bought directly rather than claimed, and why there is no balance afterwards.

How quickly could we start?

The scoping call and the agreement are the only gating steps, and neither takes long. Once the booking link is issued your people can schedule at any of the thirteen centers immediately.

For brokers and benefits consultants.

Most of the market names you in a list of audiences and then gives you nothing to work with. If you are bringing this to a client, we will send you the one-pager, the certificate of insurance and the business associate agreement, and give you a named contact rather than a shared inbox.

Compensation is a conversation we are happy to have directly.

Diligence you will do anyway: the exam is a screening CT, not a diagnostic workup; professional bodies do not recommend whole-body screening for asymptomatic people; there is no randomized evidence that it improves outcomes or lowers cost. We would rather you heard that from us than found it yourself, because it is the first thing a careful client will ask about.
